Directed by Duval Lang

Stevie and Darryll lie awake in their double bed, staring up at the dark ceiling. They can’t sleep because they’re waiting for their dad to tell them a bedtime story. They wait. And wait. World-famous novelist Jed McGriffen can’t tuck his boys in tonight because he’s stuck in dream. As he travels through a sequence of memories, he converses with Jesus and the devil, and searches for any sign of hope.

While the play is obsessed with death, the tone is lighthearted and digestible with its rapid transitions and minimal production elements. Written and performed by two of Alberta’s finest award-winning actors, Faithless is engaging, heart-warming and laugh-out-loud funny.
